Medals and Distinctions

Under each officer's name will be found pictorial representations of the medals, orders, and distinctions earned.
These include the following:
La Médaille Militaire: awarded for an officer's first victory over the Allied Coalition.
L'Étoile Militaire (Military Star): awarded for an officer's first victory over the Allied
Coalition in a multiplayer match, or after five single-player victories over the Coalition.
La Croix de Valeur: awarded for ten victories over the Allied Coalition.
L'Ordre de la Couronne de Fer:
awarded by the Commandant d'Armée or Commandant en Chef to officers that have distinguished
themselves through exemplary service to la Grande Armée, or in recognition
of special achievement.
La Garde Impériale: An officer is eligible for nomination to
la Garde Impériale and elevation to the Imperial Peerage with the title of
Baron de l'Empire upon accumulation of 200 promotion points and 10 victory points.
Le Grand Croix de Triomphe: Awarded to officers that have achieved victories over officers
from every one of the Coalition Armies (Anglo-Allied, Austrian, Prussian, Russian) in battles of over 16 completed turns.
This award is worth 10 points.
Grand Officier de La Légion d'Honneur: Awarded to "the bravest soldiers", this medal is intended for
those officers who have achieved distinction within their particular Corps or Army. Must be Corps Commander or above.
This award is worth 10 points.
Officier de la Légion d'Honneur: As above, for officers not yet in command of a Corps.
This award is worth 10 points.
La Médaille Fréjus: Awarded to an officer showing extensive and meritorious
participation in maneuvers. This award is worth 5 points.
La Médaille des Manoeuvres: Awarded to an officer exhibiting singular tactical
virtuosity leading to a victorious outcome in inter-Corps or inter-Army maneuvers. This award is worth 5 points.
L'Ordre de Napoléon: Awarded on the recommendation of the Army Commander, for
self-sacrifice and dedication above and beyond the call of duty by a senior officer of the rank of Full Général or
above, having held an Army or Corps command or staff position for at least 6 months, and with at least 5 major victories over
Allied officers. This award is worth 20 points.
La Médaille de Sainte-Hélène: Granted for lifelong dedicated and noble
service. The officer must have participated in 10 battles and held a command post.
